Waw! Yes Berlin was great! Alexandra and two of her friends, Judith and Astrid, picked me up at the airport with the car. What a luxury for a student like me... :) The 31st I visited Berlin with Alex and Judith and we picked up the French guys (Privat & Guillaume). We did the touristic tour and it was beautiful yes, but especially very cold! So we went from coffee shop to coffee shop and chatted and gossiped a lot! Another thing I noticed or what took my attention is the large u
rban scale of some squares. It's huge, sometimes too huge I think. Anyway it makes you noble as this small person on the large square and you feel the 'cold history' hanging around those places. I still don't know if I like cities like this and the period I was there was way too short to have an opinion about it. New Year's Eve we didn't spend in Berlin itself but in a town on the border with Poland, Frankfurt (an den Oder) because we got invited to a party. With 'Schengen agreement' it was possible the cross the border whenever you wanted, so also on New Year's Eve, we celebrated it on the bridge and first went to Poland. You would think about those Polish people making a incredible party, but no we didn't find it there... So we crossed the bridge again and partied on in Germany! The next day(s) we stayed in Berlin and became model tourists! Very nice trip, only why is it so cold over there? :)Mark, Privat, Alexandra(platz), Guillaume

Looks great Hans,
I had also a good time in Belgium, nice Belgian parties with very cheap beer compared to switzerland.
Till when do you have exams, I'm ending the 31.
So then the party will start for me...
So maybe I see you before you do your trip with existenz...
Good luck with your exams,
Evert
